2028 Chrysler Halcyon Ultra-Sedans Experience https://youtu.be/kzEytVxLZD4
Chrysler is a brand long associated with near-luxury sedans but now that its well-known 300 full-size four-door is out of the picture the company is starting to consider what a future electric sedan could look like. The Halcyon Concept is the first peek at that vision. There appears to be some Porsche Taycan inspiration in its stunning, low-slung styling but the Halcyon wears unique features that include rear coach doors hinged at the back and flip-up roof panels that make it easier to get in and out. The cabin is made for four with bucket seats all around. Because the Halcyon imagines what it might be like if the car could drive itself, the steering wheel retracts out of the way and the glass roof and windshield double as a giant augmented reality display for the entertainment of passengers. A see-through infotainment display sits at the base of the windshield and features an AI voice assistant with advanced capabilities and broad connectivity to other smart devices in your life. If all of this seems too far out to be possible, that's exactly the point of a concept car: to explore new ideas and fresh design directions. If even some of the Halcyon's features make it to production, that'll still be a major win for Chrysler.
