Here are 7 futuristic plane concepts.

Often times, ideas for future airplanes involve smaller seats and more tightly packed passenger cabins. However, some visions for the crafts of tomorrow are truly inspired.
Here are 7 futuristic plane concepts.
Number 7. Skreemr. This jet can whisk people from New York to London in just about a half an hour. The magic is in the liquid oxygen-burning scramjet technology, which would allow the plane to zip through the skies at up to 7,600 miles per hour.
Number 6. TriFan 600. This one is a helicopter and a plane, making it perfect for people who like to travel quickly and avoid time consuming airports. In addition to taking off and landing vertically, the aircraft can reach a speed of 400 miles per hour and journey upwards of 1,200 miles.
Number 5. Monaco 2050. Jets intended for private use come with all sorts of amenities, but this one takes the cake. The plane comes attached to a yacht. When not in the sky, it serves as the luxury vessel’s upper deck.
Number 4. Venus. The name is not just a nod to our neighboring planet. The craft’s developer hopes to actually send the lightweight, inflatable research plane to the inhospitable scorcher. Once there, Venus would study both the atmosphere and surface of the blistering hot orb.
Number 3. The Concept Plane. Airbus filed a patent for a jet with enormous windows. Though that in itself is certainly exciting news, there is more. The panes are made of smart glass, so passengers can give them a tap and learn more about the area below.
Number 2. AeroMobil Self-Flying Car. While many companies are aiming to put driverless cars on the road, AeroMobile aims to put them in the sky. The Slovakian inventors have already had success with making airborne automobiles, and they anticipate adding a self-navigation feature in the coming decade.
Number 1. Lockheed N+2. The Concorde was retired long ago, leaving a gap in the options for super speed travel. Lockheed Martin intends to fill the void, and is working on a craft capable of flying at Mach 1.6. That pace would whittle the trip from New York to LA down to about 2-and-a-half hours.
Which futuristic concept plane do you think is most exciting?
