Drawing upon his immersive experience of several decades on the spiritual path and in humanitarian service Dayamrita Chaitanya explores compassion which he believes is love in action. Dayamrita discusses its application in daily life. He talks about developing compassion within us and how compassion can help us become more effective in our lives personally and professionally. The talk is followed by a short guided meditation session.
Dayamrita Chaitanya is the Executive Director of the MA Centers, a non-profit organization started in San Ramon, California, focused on spreading Amma’s (aka Hugging Saint) teachings on love and compassion in the west. He leads the numerous humanitarian initiatives for the MA Centers in the U.S., Canada and Central Americas. Dayamrita has given a number of talks at a variety of universities and he travels with Amma all over the world.
He specialized in Physics for his undergraduate degree and holds a masters degree in Film Technology from the Film and Television Institute of India.
