All you need to do is be present and make sure there are no emergencies. Babysitting is a great way to earn some extra cash this month as you usually get paid a minimum of $40 an hour.

There are many websites where you can advertise your services, specifically made for babysitting, and you can also post your availabilities on community forums and Facebook pages.

Petsitting is also a great way to earn some extra money this month as many people need help when they go away on holidays during December. Petsitting duties can include watching, feeding or walking people’s pets.

With this job you may go over to your client's house, stay in their house or have the animals stay with you. You can easily charge $40 a day for this service and more depending on the speciality needed in looking after the pet or pets.
