How to Make Money on Amazon in 2023 (for beginners)

Hello and welcome. I’m Chris Winter and in this video, I’ll be going over how you can start making money on Amazon in 2023!

Everyone and their mom has used Amazon in one way or another.

It’s practically unheard of to know a person that hasn’t heard of Amazon, they’re one of the world’s most valuable brands after all!

However, while you probably bought something from Amazon, have you ever thought of making money from their platform?

There are a ton of ways to make money on Amazon and some entrepreneurs are even making millions of dollars in revenue each and every year.

If you’re looking to make money easily, here are different ways you can through Amazon.

Why Amazon?

Before we go over the different ways you can make money via Amazon, why choose Amazon anyway?

Well, for one, Amazon ranked number one in the best places to work for in 2022 according to Linkedin and CNBC.

Amazon is the number one online marketplace, even beating out the likes of Walmart, Macy’s, Etsy, and Target in the online space.

Each month, more than 197 million people across the globe use Amazon.com to buy and sell their products online.

Amazon also has 300 million active users, which is twice the size of the entire population of Russia!

Simply put: that’s an insane number of people!

Not only that, the power of online shopping has grown so much in the past years that 51% of people prefer shopping online.

If that doesn’t sell you on why Amazon is a great way of earning money, I don’t know what is.

With the sheer amount of users and organic traffic, it’s not a surprise that Amazon is a platform millions of people use to not only buy, but also sell.

FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon)

FBA or Fulfillment by Amazon is probably the first thing everyone has in mind and for good reason.

If you have your product ready, whether it’s a DIY product or a product you bought wholesale and planning to sell it in retail, Amazon will handle shipping, tracking, delivery, and customer service!

What’s even better is they can get this done in as fast as two days!

This will leave you with happy and satisfied customers that will keep coming back for your products.

Affiliate Links

If you don’t want to handle products by hand online but still want to earn money in the comfort of your own home, Amazon still has something for you.

Affiliate links are products that you promote via a special affiliate link and when a customer clicks on it and purchases the product you're promoting using your link, you’ll get a commission or a percentage as take home pay.

Imagine promoting a $1,000 bed and every time someone buys from your link, you’ll get a 10% affiliate commission. That’s $100 each time someone purchases using your link!

Easy as that!

While easy, I only recommend this for people who are willing to sink serious hours in or have a sizable following since as is, they don’t earn as much.

You’ll have to have lots of people clicking links and lots of people buying those products.

Still, the ease of doing this in the comfort of your own home is a big enough selling point for some to try.

Merch by Amazon (MBA)

For those with a passion for graphic design, Amazon has got you covered with Merch by Amazon (MBA).

MBA is a program where you can submit your designs and patterns to Amazon and you get a royalty payment every time someone prints your design on a merchandise like t-shirt, hoodies, popsockets, or phone case to name a few.

You don’t even have to worry about printing and shipping!

Amazon does it all for you, all you have to do is churn out the designs you love, submit it, wait for it to be approved, then set your price and your product is ready for purchase!
