Look, here’s what we know so far. A candidate super-Earth planet is orbiting near the snow line of Barnard’s star. Barnard's Star is our sun's nearest neighbor, apart from the three-star Alpha Centauri system, which is about 4.3 light-years away. A dim red dwarf that lies just 6 light-years from the sun in the constellation Ophiuchus, just below the Summer Triangle. And there is a planet. A frigid cold alien world about 3.2 times more massive than Earth.
