In today's IGN The Fix: Entertainment, with the Release the Snyder Cut campaign leading to Warner Bros. giving us Zack Snyder's Justice League, Suicide Squad director David Ayer has expressed his desire for a David Ayer cut of his 2016 film. With the upcoming release of the James Gunn Suicide Squad movie, is it likely we'll see a #ReleaseTheAyerCut movement?

The Mortal Kombat movie, hitting both theaters and HBO Max, has been dealt an uppercut so hard it moved from its original April 16th release date to April 23rd. As for Venom 2 (Venom: Let There Be Carnage), we'll have to wait to see it on the big screen September 17th of this year - pushed back over two months from its original date of June 25th.

The New Mutants will be headed to HBOMax. Now you're probably wondering, why wouldn't an X-Men movie produced by Fox make its way on either Disney+ or Hulu, seeing as Disney now owns Fox? We break it down for you in today's episode of IGN The Fix: Entertainment with Akeem Lawanson!

Correction: the release date for The Suicide Squad was incorrectly stated in this episode as October 29. The correct release date for The Suicide Squad is August 6, 2021
