Today on In Case You Missed It: An affordable robotic arm is up on Kickstarter for $350 and promises machine vision, artificial intelligence and all kinds of other great stuff that we can hardly believe is available for that price. A shocking bit of research was just published on the effect antioxidant supplements had on lab mice. Turns out it made their tumors grow faster than the control group. Basically, put down the pills (and share the research with your cancer-fightin’ friends). Meanwhile those happy go lucky bike commuters have another new piece of bike tech if they want to signal where they’re going to drivers. The Revolights Eclipse Plus syncs with Bluetooth like similar bike models and is being fulfilled on Kickstarter now.
We also do a round-up of some of the week’s biggest tech headlines. If you haven’t read about it yet, here’s a good place to start on why Jack Dorsey gave back some of his stock options at Twitter. And if you’re still figuring out Halloween costume ideas, let Google’s Frightgeist help you out with any popularity problems.
If you come across any interesting videos, we’d love to see them. Just tweet us with the #ICYMI hashtag @engadget or @mskerryd.
