Signs of Japan Limited-Edition Zine

Synopsis: Upon arriving in Japan, photographer Luca Eandi was taken with the colorful illustrated street signs ubiquitous in Tokyo’s suburban bedroom communities. So, he started photographing them. Soon, the project grew from dozens of images to hundreds, and eventually thousands. The signs are more than fun illustrations—they reveal some profound truths about modern Japanese life. Signs of Japan is the first collection of images from the project, shot all over the metropolitan Tokyo area from 2014 to 2017.
