Life with Huawei's FORBIDDEN FRUIT?!

We human beings are contradictory spirits. To quote a scene from one of my favorite movies: "If I ask you to not think of elephants, what crosses your mind? - Elephants." We are always obsessed by the things we can't have. So if you're told that phone is NOT gonna be sold in the US for this or that reason, or that it'll include certain limitations, guess what I've spent the last couple of months wanting to do?
 
This is the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, the successor to one of my favorite smartphones of 2018, but which became one of the most controversial launches of 2019. I'm not gonna bore you with the drama as to why, I covered it extensively on the Pocketnow Daily. Thing is, I spent months being the contradictory being that I am, really wanting to see if I could try this phone and make it work. I'm Jaime Rivera with Pocketnow, and this is how it's been.
