On June 18, 2014, Joel Christian Gill visited Google's Cambridge, MA office to talk about his graphic anthology, Strange Fruit, Vol. 1: Uncelebrated Narratives From Black History. In this collection he retells nine stories of extraordinary African Americans whose lives have been long forgotten by most.
Mr. Gill is Associate Dean of Student Affairs at the New Hampshire Institute of Art and a member of The Boston Comics Roundtable. He received his MFA from Boston University and BA from Roanoke College.
