Loss Prevention Training: What NOT to do While Apprehending a Shoplifter

The newest addition to our: "The Loss Prevention Chronicles-You Can't Make This Stuff Up", Playlist. George is here to tell us another crazy shoplifter story from back in his days working in loss prevention and asset protection. Before starting SilverHammer, George used surveillance equipment and security cameras to catch 1252 shoplifters at a regional retailer. In 2008, George drew upon his experience in loss prevention and asset protection to start SilverHammer.

Actually, this story isn't so much about the crazy shoplifter, as it is George making some of the more questionable decisions of his LP career. So this is more of a loss prevention training video, as to what not to do.

The loss prevention game was a little different "back in the day". As George puts it, "It was more like the wild wild west".

The story starts out simple enough, but stay until the end of the video and let George tell you about one of the craziest things he's ever done in his retail security career.
