Mel Gibson has given us enough material to look back at this classic and already have a hard time watching him do his 'noble' schtick. But, as if anti-semitic drunken rants were not enough, he had to go and let a car land in the middle of one of the biggest scenes in his Oscar winning film. It seems pretty small, but once you know it's there, it kind of takes away from the magic of moviemaking. Mel - put down the pint and focus. William Wallace deserved better than this.
