Listen up, G-Wagon fans - we’ve got some news for you, and you may not be happy to hear it! We have a sneaking suspicion that Mercedes may be planning to release an all-electric G-Class!

So, why do we think this is set to happen? Well, it’s been reported that Mercedes has trademarked the ‘EQG’ name, the same naming convention as it's been using for electric versions of its most popular petrol-powered cars.

For example, we’ve already had our hands on the EQS (an all-electric S-Class), and an EQA (an all-electric GLA), so we think it’s pretty likely that the EQG name points to only one thing - an all-electric G-Class!

But what do you think - would an EV G-Wagon ruin the reputation of this oh-so-popular (and oh-so expensive!) off-roader? And more importantly, how much power is it likely to have, and what will it look like?!

You’ll have to stick with Mat in this latest video for everything you need to know, including a look at our exclusive EQG render!
