Nikon Z9 - No Mechanical Shutter?!? The Future Is Here!

Today Nikon announced its first Flagship mirrorless camera - the Nikon Z9. This camera is very significant in that has a new 45.7 megapixel, stacked CMOS sensor designed by Nikon, an incredibly powerful EXPEED 7 processor and most notably no mechanical shutter. This is a fast and powerful camera. It supports shutter speeds up to 1/32,000 of a second, shoots 20 fps JPEG + RAW, 30 fps JPEG and 50fps JPEG at 11 megapixels. Video is powerful too as it will record 8k up to 30p for over 2 hours. 4k is supported up to 120p.

Price is $5499.99

Also announced is a new adapter with a physical redesign (in development), a new 100-400mm S f/4.5-5.6, a 24-120mm S f/4, and a development announcement for a 400mm f/2.8 S telephoto lens.
