Peacemaker Series First Look Stirs Up Many Questions - IGN The Fix: Entertainment

HBO Max is giving us our first look at Peacemaker in action with an exclusive clip from the upcoming series. With it comes many questions from the James Gunn-directed spinoff series based on Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. The Peacemaker series is set to premiere on HBO Max next year in January. HBO Max tweeted out the following, “He’s got the looks, the car, and the best sidekick ever -- all in the name of peace. An exclusive clip from DC #Peacemaker has just been debuted by HBO Max Europe. Coming this January to HBO Max. The clip features John Economos (Steve Agee) and Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland), two of Amanda Waller's subordinates who were first seen in The Suicide Squad movie, waiting for John Cena’s Peacekeeper to arrive at a diner. History of Peacemaker will soon be revealed in the HBO Max show Peacemaker. Also set to appear in the Peacemaker series is Vigilante and Judomaster, two other DC characters. More is likely to be revealed about the HBO Max series at DC FanDome, which will be held on October 16. In other DC news, it looks like we’re getting a new live-action miniseries in the form of Batman: Wayne Family Adventures. Based on the Webtoon of the same name, the three-part miniseries in partnership with DC will premiere October 11th. And finally, Michael Keaton’s keeping it fit after all these years! Appearing on The Late Show, the actor revealed that the Batsuit he first wore 30 years ago still fits.
