Samsung Galaxy S10 5G early hands-on

The Galaxy S10 5G is the beefiest S10 phone announced by Samsung this year, and boy is it a powerhouse! We’re talking a monstrous 6.7” screen, Snapdragon 855, two cameras on the front, 4 on the back, all of which backed up by a juicy 4500 mAh battery.

But the big seller here is 5G connectivity, as the S10 5G is one of the first vessels that's going to allow you to experience this next-generation network tech. Over the following months, you’ll begin hearing carriers and phone manufacturers really start drumming 5G up, but the bottom line you need to remember is this: faster speeds and lower latencies. Downloading 4K movies will take just a few minutes, online games should no longer suffer from any amount of lag, and 4K video calls over a mobile network should be entirely possible.

Unfortunately, Samsung wasn't ready yet to let us play with a finished S10 5G model, which is why we didn't get to show you much of its software. There's also no release date or price announced yet, but hopefully we'll know more soon enough!
