Dr. Shauna Tominey is an Assistant Professor of Practice and Parenting Education Specialist at Oregon State University. She combines her hands-on experience from her previous role as an early childhood teacher into her research to find ways to promote social-emotional skills for kids and adults.
In this talk, Dr. Tominey touches on some topics from her book "Creating Compassionate Kids" which guides caregivers on how to have conversations with children in ways that help them grow emotionally stronger.
