Many questions have been swirling about what will happen in the new Matrix movie? IGN breaks down the Matrix 4 official trailer that was shown at Cinemacon. We got our first glimpse at The Matrix 4 when Warner Bros. unveiled footage at the event and finally revealed the name of the fourth Matrix movie entry into the franchise: The Matrix Resurrections. According to Deadline, the Matrix 4 trailer kicks off with Keanu Reeves’ Neo talking to his therapist, played by Neil Patrick Harris, in a futuristic San Francisco. We provide you with a Matrix 4 trailer breakdown and many other Matrix Resurrections details. In Matrix Resurrections, Neo appears to be content with taking the blue pill. What makes the Matrix 4 movie so interesting is, since we know that in the last film, Matrix Revolutions, both Neo and Trinity died, how are they back in Matrix Resurrections? This new film is called The Matrix Resurrections, so it’s likely that title could be referring to both Neo and Trinity being resurrected to venture back into the Matrix and stop another war between the humans and machines. In other entertainment news, we got Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg in Sony’s Uncharted movie trailer. Scenes from the Uncharted movie included a shot of Nathan Drake near a pirate ship, giving off Uncharted 4 vibes, and a scene where Nathan Drake jumps out of a plane in a scene that resembled a sequence in Uncharted 3. From what we’re hearing online, there’s lots of nods to the games, so fans of the Naughty Dog franchise are certainly in for a treat when the Uncharted movie releases February 18th 2022. And finally, after earlier reports that Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage was being delayed to January 21, 2022, news from Variety is that Venom: Let There Be Carnage WILL NOT be delayed to next year and is still slated for it’s October 15th release this year, but this story is still ongoing and subject to change.
