Five Volvo Truck drivers from Asia gathered in Gothenburg, Sweden, to take part in the first ever Asian Fuelwatch championship for fuel efficient driving. The five finalists qualified after as many as 1500 drivers from China, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand entered local Fuelwatch competitions throughout 2010. The winner then took on the winner of the Nordic Super Eco Driver competition, Thor Asbjørn Vigeland Larsen of Norway, in the Asia-Nordic Challenge.
