Five national champions in fuel efficient driving from Indonesia and India were at Volvo Trucks' global headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden, taking part in the first ever Asia Off-road Fuelwatch competition. Each driver had to complete a four-kilometre off-road circuit through a gravel quarry using a Volvo FMX, with the winner being the driver who could complete the circuit using the least amount of fuel.
