We Tested the iPhone 14's Emergency SOS via Satellite

Emergency SOS via Satellite on the iPhone 14 is basically your 911 backup.

When Apple announced the iPhone 14 series, some of the biggest features were things you can't see like an internal redesign that make repairs cheaper and easier, or tools that most people will hopefully neve have to use, like Car Crash Detection. One feature that stood out was Emergency SOS via Satellite which, when you or someone you love is stranded or injured and out of range of cell service, lets you use a satellite to text an emergency dispatcher. Apple invited us to a live demonstration, and we came away very impressed.

Apple's new safety feature is now live in the US and Canada.
