The opening credits to Disney Plus’ Secret Invasion series was created using AI-generated imagery . And while that might be par for course these days given how popular AI has become as of late, some Marvel fans are a little upset about it. AI is one of the hot-button issues at the heart of the ongoing writers strike - The WGA is calling for the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producersto ban the use of AI for writing scripts  generating source material, or the training of AI using existing WGA material. VFX artists may not be striking, but Disney may be pouring gas on the fire by dropping a show with an AI-generated intro while writers are protesting (among other things) the use of AI. Meanwhile, The Flash didn’t do too well at the box office, and Kevin Fiege and those famous Hall H MCU announcements might not be happening at Comic Con this year. All that and more on today’s fix with Akeem Lawanson.
