HBO Max is strategically taking out the Bat-family from streaming. First it was the straight-to-streaming movie, Batgirl, and now it’s #TheBatman: Caped Crusader and Merry Little #Batman: two animated projects by Warner Brothers Animation that are getting scrapped, in the hopes of wrapping up production on each to shop around to other networks. At least there’s hope for those two animated properties, whereas Batgirl will never see the light of day. We discuss what’s going on over at #HBOMax.
