Number 10. Tempesto.
At Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, Tempesto propels riders forwards, backwards and through a complete inversion 154 feet high at speeds of up to 63 miles per hour.  
Number 9. Zombie.
Mexican theme park Bosque Magico Coca Cola's Zombie will boast the highest inversion in Latin America. It will also be the first coaster in Mexico to magnetically launch and propel riders up to 62 miles per hour and both forwards and backwards. 
Number 8. Impulse.
The most expensive ride in Knoebels Amusement Resort’s history, Impulse will add a much needed thrill factor to the Pennsylvania park, with a 90-degree free-fall drop and cars capable of a 360-degree roll. 
Number 7. Twisted Colossus.
The longest hybrid roller coaster in the world, featuring both wood and steel, is set to open at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles. The track is nearly 5,000 feet long, providing passengers with a four minute long ride.
Number 6. Wicked Cyclone.
The first coaster of its kind to feature two Zero-gravity rolls and a 200 degree stall, Wicked Cyclone at Six Flags New England is a wood-steel hybrid coaster reaching a height of 10 stories and speeds of 55 miles per hour. 
Number 5. Batman: The Ride. 
Billed as a 4D free fly roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, it has has a ton of special effects, and a unique design leaving riders feeling like they're free-falling.
Number 4. Baron 1898.
Meant to evoke the feeling of riding through a 19th century Dutch gold mine, Efteling, a theme park in the Netherlands, is opening Baron 1898. This coaster includes a free-fall dive into a mineshaft and a ride time of only 130 seconds. 
Number 3.  Laff Trakk.
Billed as "the first indoor, spinning, glow-coaster in the United States," Laff Trakk is part roller coaster and part fun house. Located in Herseypark, Pennsylvania, it will feature both new and old fun house amusements including distortion mirrors and glow-in-the-dark elements. 
Number 2. Cannibal.
Located in Salt Lake City, Cannibal is a $22 million roller coaster hitting a top speed of 70 miles per hour and features a 116-foot drop into a themed subterranean tunnel, a 360 degree helix over a man-made waterfall and one thrill that hasn't been publicly announced yet.
Number 1. Fury 325.
The world's tallest and faster giga coaster is located in North Carolina at Carowinds amusement park. Fury 325 features a 6,600 foot long track with a 30-story climb that then drops riders down at an 81-degree angle.
