The Nissan Pathfinder is a 3-row midsize SUV that has been fully redesigned for 2022. The Pathfinder has been known as an SUV that provides good value, a spacious interior and strong towing capabilities. But in recent years the Pathfinder fell behind stylish newcomers such as the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade. Nissan has changed all that by giving the 2022 Pathfinder a redesigned exterior and interior as well as some upgrades underneath.
Taking a look inside, it's easy to see the effort Nissan has put in to make the Pathfinder's interior more modern. Everything from the improved storage to a nifty shifter and large central touchscreen helps make the Pathfinder's interior look more appealing.
The exterior of the Pathfinder also gets a fresh new look for 2022, and Nissan didn't have to look far for inspiration. Borrowing the styling features of the redesigned Rogue and Frontier, the 2022 Pathfinder now has a boxier and more squared-off front end and recognizable LED lighting signatures. It's a really nice upgrade from the previous-generation Pathfinder.
For this video, we weren't able to get behind the wheel and take the Pathfinder for a spin, so you'll have to wait for our driving impressions. For now, Nissan definitely has our interest piqued with the redesigned Pathfinder. The upgraded exterior and interior give the Pathfinder a modern look that Nissan hopes is enough to keep pace with the top-rated 3-row SUVs, including the Kia Telluride and Honda Pilot. Tell us what you think of the new look Pathfinder in the comments below. This is our first impression of the redesigned 2022 Nissan Pathfinder.
