Heterogeneous or Hybrid computing is about using the best processor for the job, combining the CPU and the GPU for high-powered computing. The conventional idea that computers will double in speed about every two years is no longer true. Computers are getting wider, not faster. In this talk, you will learn why this is and how GPUs can help. You'll also learn what the CUDA platform is, as well as a brief introduction to CUDA C too show you it's very simple to unlock the massively parallel computational power of a GPU.
