Welcome to my News House where I keep weird news for you to Peruse. Hi, I’m Marc.

The story today: a Florida woman was reported for a hit and run by her own car. Beep beep you’re fucked.

Yes indeed, after a rear ending another vehicle, Cathy Burnstein tried to flee the scene in her Ford Fusion. And she would have gotten away with it too if her own car hadn’t turned her over to the police like a dirty rat. Her car’s 911Assist feature called the cops as soon as her airbag was deployed. She tried to deny the collision but eventually had to confess to the crime. And was arrested. Boom. Orange jumpsuit! No, but seriously that car’s a dirty rat. Snitches and talkers get stiches get stiches and walkers

Smart features have been on the rise for a while now. Personalized seat and temp adjustments, self-parking cars, self-driving cars. And Ford’s been putting 911Assist in its cars since 2010. Please with the results, Ford announce it’ll be releasing more helpful features in a brand new line of crime fighting cars. The Ford Sherlock and Ford Watson should be available in 2017.

The elusive Kia Pickpocket and Hyundai Accessory to Murder (Serial Killer) could not be reached for comment but we’re sure they weren’t impressed. (aww, beep, beep)

That’s it for news house. See you this week for more weird current events. And a good news day to you.
