Bembona is a Puerto Rican-Panamanian DJ, multi-platform artist and activist, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Her work represents and pushes forward the afro-diasporadical movement (Latinx/Indigenous/Caribbean/African), with the purpose of empowering and bridging the gap between communities of color, generations, activist work, and beyond.

In an unapologetic, vulnerable, and inspiring interview, Bembona sits down with Googler Lindiwe Davis to discuss her life experiences from a personal and professional perspective, providing more color and context into how she's embraced her Afro-Latinx background, and how this has inspired and influenced her career and relationship with music.
