Kimberley joins Talks at Google - London to discuss her fascinating new book, "Lawless". She talks us through some of her most pivotal global cases, how she navigates the difficulties of operating in fractured and deeply religious societies with a fledgling legal system and much more!

About Kimberley:

Kimberley Motley is an American International Attorney, author, public speaker, philanthropist, comic book writer, and human rights activist. Since 2008 she has worked as a defense litigator in Afghanistan, focusing on defending against human rights abuses and other miscarriages of justice. Kimberley was the first foreign lawyer to practice in Afghanistan and has never lost a case in the country. Her successes include reuniting several kidnapped children with their families, helping to reduce the sentences of a trafficked woman forced into drug smuggling, and achieving justice for the family of a woman who was murdered by a police officer.
