Although Morehouse College dates back to 1867, the college embraces the future for its students. Founded on principles of compassion and integrity, the college envisions outcomes for its students not in terms of boxes checked, but in encompassing explorations of brotherhood and ethical leadership.
The college put safety first during the COVID-19 crisis and decided to shift from in-person to virtual learning. Morehouse provided Surface Go 2 devices to all its incoming students, and the college is supporting academic excellence, community involvement, and entrepreneurship—and continuing its tradition of educating Black scholars and leaders.
