Trailblazing Olympian, advocate, and speaker Simidele Adeagbo joins us at Google to share her incredible story. Simidele made history at the 2018 Olympic Games by becoming the first Nigerian Winter Olympian, the first African, and the first Black woman to compete in Skeleton despite having no prior knowledge of the sport of Skeleton until about 100 days before the Olympics, and no suitable place to train in her home country.

About Simidele Adeagbo:
When she's not making history in sport, Simidele is a former marketing executive at Nike Inc now turned Nike Athlete; an ambassador for the Malala Fund; and is a member of the inaugural class of the “Obama Foundation Leaders: Africa” program. She's been a featured speaker everywhere from TEDx to CNN to ESPN to Forbes, and has been recognized by multiple sources (The Guardian, Bustle, and more) as one of the most influential young Africans of 2018.
