In Blueprint for Revolution, Srdja draws on his experience leading non-violent activist movements around the world to overthrow dictators, fight for civil rights, and advocate for democracy around the world. After leading the student movement to overthrow the brutal Serbian dictator Slobodan Milosevic in late 2000, Srdja founded the the Center for Applied Nonviolent Action and Strategies (CANVAS), which educates pro-democracy activists around the world how to use nonviolent tactics to bring about social change. Srdja has worked with activists is some of the world's most volatile countries -- Iran, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Belarus, Ukraine, and Egypt, just to name a few.
Join us as Srdja shares stories from his days as a student activist and explains how to, in his own words, "use rice pudding, LEGO men, and other nonviolent techniques to galvanize communities, overthrow dictators, or simply change the world."
