St. Luke’s University Health Network had just deployed Microsoft 365 to its health teams when COVID-19 arrived at the network’s 12 hospitals in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Facing empty waiting rooms and patients too scared to see their doctors, 1,400 practitioners across 400 St. Luke’s sites used Microsoft Teams to help the Network deliver 135,000 virtual visits in the first three months of the COVID-19 crisis. St. Luke’s recovered income protected staff and patients and continued to provide care in an unprecedented health crisis.
