In this talk he offers advice on navigating health care law to ensure innovations are compliant with HIPAA and equivalent Digital Privacy Act. Dr. Cohen will uses his experience in the PRACTICE of medicine to ensure that the proposed projects are germane and applicable to the industry while at the same time innovating from the perspective of an actively practicing physician with the knowledge of technology and its limitations.
Joseph Cohen is a board certified pediatrician and pediatric technology developer. He founded Cedar Park Pediatrics in 2005 and kiddoEMR in 2012.
