Honeywell sets new production standards with Microsoft Teams and RealWear wearable tablets

Honeywell, the multinational conglomerate headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, with 110,000 global employees, has been innovating for more than 100 years in areas as diverse as aerospace, building technologies, and manufacturing. When the COVID-19 crisis presented an enormous challenge to business continuity, making it impossible to continue performing crucial factory acceptance tests in person, Honeywell turned to RealWear hands-free, wearable tablet devices and Microsoft Teams, the collaboration platform in Microsoft 365. The organization gained efficiencies—in one instance time savings reached two weeks—saved costs, and contributed to better employee well-being.
