Apple says the iPhone 17 Pro camera offers 8× optical-quality zoom, 200 mm reach, and f/2.8 depth of field — but those numbers don’t match reality.

As a professional photographer, I measured the real focal lengths, resolution, and depth of field. What I found was surprising — Apple’s marketing is stretching the truth more than you’d think.

In this video, I test the iPhone 17 Pro against real full-frame cameras and show exactly how its claimed 13 mm, 24 mm, 100 mm, and 200 mm lenses actually perform.

???? Real photographer. Real test. Real results.
