In today's IGN The Fix: Entertainment, Disney Plus' Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi has revealed the new cast as well as filming to begin in April. Ewan McGregor will reprise his role as the Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, along with Hayden Christensen returning as Anakin Skywalker, aka Darth Vader. The Disney+ Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi series will see actors Moses Ingram, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Kumail Nanjiani, and many more joining the ever-growing universe started by George Lucas.
We've also got a release date on the Black Adam movie starring Dwayne Johnson. We've been waiting for this Warner Bros. movie for quite a while, and they promise us this anti-hero flick with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will change the hierarchy of power in the DC Universe. With promises to shake things up in the DCEU, fans are looking forward to seeing how Black Adam is portrayed by The Rock. Black Adam will be hitting theaters July 29th, 2022.
The Mortal Kombat movie reboot, coming to HBO Max and theaters April 16th, promises to have fight scenes that will each have unique personalities, according to Mortal Kombat producer Todd Garner. Both Mortal Kombat producer and Mortal Kombat director Simon McQuoid have both been hyping up this Mortal Kombat movie reboot, and it seems as though it will be holding true to the source material (based on the Mortal Kombat video games).
