Cadillac has addressed a glaring gap in its lineup with a new three-row crossover, the 2020 XT6. The XT6 enters a hotter-than-hot segment, but we wonder: Can it repeat the success of its monstrous big sib, the Escalade? Q: What kind of engine and transmission does the 2020 Cadillac XT6 use?
A: The XT6 uses the same 3.6-liter V6 engine found in the XT5, with the same 310 horsepower. It is paired with a newer nine-speed automatic transmission that we've generally liked in other GM products.

Q: What kind of tech does the 2020 XT6 get?
A: Beyond the usual active safety features, the XT6 can be upgraded with adaptive cruise control, an HD surround-view camera, forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, automatic parking assist, and the CT6's night-vision system, among other features.

Q: How much will the XT6 cost and when will it arrive?
A: We don't have all the details on pricing yet, but Cadillac will start taking orders this spring, so the XT6 should show up in dealerships soon after.
